Warszawa bez fikcji / Fiction Free Warsaw is an international festival dedicated to reportage, photojournalism and other genres that adopt non-fictional themes, such as theatre. Over 80 reporters and photographers from the international and Polish press will take part in meetings with the public in several places in the Polish capital. NAPO FOUNDATION is co-organizing the festival and invites to (among others) the following debates:
November 24: Picture of the World. Debate: What about Polish Photojournalism? Participants: Piotr Małecki, Filip Ćwik, Witold Krassowski, Krzysztof Pawela, Krzysztof Wójcik, Monika Szewczyk, Jacek Marczewski.
November 25: Picture of the World. Debate: A View of Foreign Suffering - Photojournalism on the War Front. Participants: Justyna Mielnikiewicz, Cezary Sokołowski, Maksymilian Rigamonti, Wojciech Grzedzinski, Monika Szewczyk, Jacek Marczewski.
November 27: Picture of the World. Debate: "Collecting Photographs is to Collect the World" - Reporters and travel photojournalists talk about their experiences. Participants: Maciej Biernacki, Paulina Wilk, Joanna Lamparska, Marcin Jamkowski, Jakub Mielnik, Maciej Jeziorek, Ewa Meissner.
On November 24 at 07.30 PM at Chłodna 25 Club - Portfolio Review - Meeting with photojournalists from Napo Images for those considering a future in the profession and all other people interested in photojournalism, accompanied by Napo Images Slideshow - a viewing of photoreportages by Napo Images photographers.
This international festival will refer to extremely different behaviors and problems of small communities that dominate the twenty-first century, in contrast to the twentieth century - the era of the great ideologies, revolutions and social movements.
