Born in 1973, in Warsaw. Graduated from theological studies at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Warsaw and from the Department of Photography at the Yuri Gagarin Phototechnical School  in Warsaw. Co-founder of the Napo Images agency. Participant of the Credit Suisse Masterclass for photojournalists from East-Central Europe, Budapest, 2004. Worked for, among others; "Solidarity Weekly", "The Life of Warsaw" and "Polska the Times". Since 2002 he has been working with the Forum agency. Winner of numerous photo contests. In 2010-2012 taught photojournalism at the Institute of Journalism at the University of Warsaw. Maciej received scholarships of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2012, 2018). Member of The Association of Polish Art Photographers.
